Kedah trip

I went to Kedah last holiday. I wanted to spend some time with Hui Ming after being apart for so long (2 months may not seem long to some, but I was already feeling uneasy.)

My trip there was pretty time consuming. To get to Kedah from KL, it will take about 6 hours. I took the late night bus and had to go to Pudu at around 9pm. It was also the last bus to Pudu, and I was the last passenger. Naturally, I was worried that at any time, a mugger might get on the bus and demand all my $. Good thing this never happen.

Reached Alor Setar on Thursday, and Huai Ling together with Huai Yin brought me to the famed Kedah school Keat Hwa.

The highlight of this trip was my meeting with Hui Ming. She hasn't change much, still same old same old bright and cheery. Although, I find we do talk less than usual. Maybe it was because we haven't seen each other for so long. On the car, I was constantly racking my brains for stuff to talk. Why has it become so? Does it mean, when a guy can't communicate well with his gf, problems are arising?

Hui Ming fell sick on Friday, and our trip to Padang Besar was cut short. She didn't feel well and we tried to go back to her hostel so that she could rest earlier. I was really disappointed. Having gone all the way up to Kedah, my Friday night was spent alone in a hostel room. I wanted to ask her down to have a walk, but knowing she was sick, I refrain myself from doing so. In the end, I did try asking her down, but she was asleep already.

Saturday was my last day there. We did meet an hour before I left to have a chat. Before I left, we hugged. I was sad to see her eyes teary and her mouth trembling as I was about to leave.

Last I saw of Hui Ming

Hopefully, next holiday we will be able to spend more time together. Also hopefully, our bridge of communication doesn't break. I see cracks.
