Hui Ming's Birthday

Its a little late, but I still want to post about how we celebrated Hui Ming's birthday. Not a really spectacular event, but I want to keep it for future reference ^_^

At 11:00pm June 14, we were lodging at Berjaya Times Square hotel. Hui Ming was already exhausted and sleeping on the bed. I still haven't gotten her any thing at that moment. Realizing this, I decided to at least have a small ceremony for her. So, I grab my wallet, borrowed my friend's slippers and headed to the 7-11 store on the ground floor. Grabbed a pineapple cake, tried to find candles but 7-11 doesn't have em. Saw some balloons and decided to buy one for an added touch of surprise.

At 12am, I crept to Hui Ming's side, held the cake and balloon in place, and slowly nudge her awake. My friends who were standing behind her started singing the birthday song when I gave them the cue.

After that we had a little chat. Only for a while though. Then we slept and the next day arrived. We went to Times Square and I managed to get her an orange coloured gift (ask her what is it if you wanna know).

Nothing much happened until when we reached home. I didn't know it too, but my family knew it was her birthday! That's cos I had a calender in my room which had my friends birthdays labelled on it...



My mum had prepared her a yoghurt birthday cake! We did the usual stuff :sang birthday song, cut cake, divide cake, eat it.



I still think this wasn't the best birthday I could give her. My original plan was to get all my friends she knew at my Grandparents house(which is empty) and give her a surprise party. Well, I guessed that would have to wait.
