Absence from Blogsphere

I have been absent from blogsphere for quite a long time, and have decided to type a post and put up some pictures for your viewing pleasure! Yea!

I shall continue where I drop of last week, which is 11 of May. On this day, Hui Ming landed on Melaka land, and I went to Sentral to meet her. We had a fun time in Melaka, doing some usual stuff, like watching a movie and window shopping in Mahkota. Heh, Hui Ming was tired of Mahkota already, so I decided to bring her to the popular bookstore near the already "zup luck" Great Wall shopping centre. And there's where she actually bought,urm... how many? I think at least 7 love novels! She can devour all of them in a short time. According to her, the love novels in Melaka is old version, while those sold at her place are new versions... so she was searching for some hard-to-find novels. We saw XXX 2 and I was sleeping most of the time, cos I wasn't that much interested in action sequences with stuff blowing up and such.

On our way back, I found out the bus fare was RM3.30... woa, the last time I took bus was RM2.50 only, now it has increase so much! I was really surprised and worried cos the next day, we would be taking bus to Seremban... and that would cost us more.

I guessed right! A one-way trip to Seremban was RM4.10, compared to last time which was RM3 something... dang...
At Seremban, we just went window-shopping at seremban parade and terminal one. Hui Ming was very enthusiatic to find a photo-taking machine, which can make small sticker like photos with frames... I don't know what its called in english, but here's an example of it.

The photos taken will look like this and are miniature in size.

Notice the frame on the photo, it can be changed. The machine has a variety of frames.

We've been looking for a machine like this for quite some time. Does anyone know where they can find one? We've look through Melaka, Seremban and Muar, and still we haven't found one yet.

The 3rd day was a cooking day. I help my dad cook Mee Siam, while Hui Ming cooked her konyaku jelly. We didn't do much in the daytime, except go rent some movies to watch and go to the Gadek hot springs with Feei and Cheok.

This is the second time this year I have been to the hot springs. A lot has change there since I was small. When I was small, the hotsprings did not have man-made pools and the malays would bathe in the natural pool, which look disgusting with some gooey slime thingy floating on the surface of the pool. Now they have made cement pools for people to swim in it, although to be able to swim in the pool at that kind of temperature would need some skill (when we went there, there was this malay guy doing freestyle in the pool, showoff...).

The part with gooey stuff, sorry, forgot to take a close-up

Saturday was a stay-at-home day where we watched a medley of movies. Sahara, Kingdom of Heaven and "Hong zhi" (red words in chinese)> I slept through Sahara, found Kingdom of Heaven a so-so story, and quite enjoyed "Hong zhi"(which is a Korean show about infidelity). Apparently, one of the actress in "Hong zhi" comitted suicide after filming that show (that's the first reason we rented it anyway). We were busy guessing which actress which committed suicide.

Hui Ming went back on Sunday. My family sent her to Melaka and she took the bus home. Well, this has been a nice and busy visit, which I hope will be etched in my memory forever :)
